Course Description

 
This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed
understanding of the safe transportation of explosives. The training
includes discussion of the Department of Energy explosives
classification process and the DOT hazardous materials regulations
for preparation of an explosive shipment. The training includes study
guides to assist the participant with the steps required to prepare and
ship explosives in full compliance with DOT regulations. Materials will
be provided to facilitate completing the course.
Successful participants receive a certification stating that the training
meets the requirements of 49 CFR 172, Subpart H.
