On December 21, 2021 (85 FR 83366) the Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) made a final rule which corrects editorial errors and improves the clarity of certain provisions in the Hazardous Materials Regulations and PHMSA program and procedural regulations.
The intended effect of this rule-making is to enhance the accuracy and reduce misunderstandings of the regulations. The amendments contained in this final rule are non-substantive changes and do not impose new requirements. This final rule is effective January 20, 2021.
